The Inspiring Technology Research Group at USC in USA

The primary academic institute for the Inspiring Technology research in USA is the School of Engineering at University of Southern California (USC). USC is the largest private research university in the western United States. The School of Engineering of USC is consistently ranked among the top engineering schools and it is home to world-class research institutes in biomedical engineering, the information sciences, Internet technology, computer engineering, etc.

The Inspiring Technology research laboratory at USC is attached to the IMPACT laboratory, a joint research center established by Prof. Stephen Lu with the support from the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and the Department of Computer Science. The joint-disciplinary research environment makes the IMPACT laboratory an important academic portal for multi-faceted knowledge/expertise interaction and development.

The Inspiring Technology Research Group at the IMPACt laboratory of USC is currently conducting an extensive research on innovative product development methodologies, fractal/holistic human systems modeling approaches, advanced sensor technology deployments, and various energy applications.
