One
of the STCs that this ECN-WG reports to is STC Assembly
(STC-A).
The
technical areas of activities in STC-A are:
- Techniques, processes, equipments and design for assembly
and disassembly, recycling, handling, product integration
and interconnection, including human operations such
as maintenance services, quality testing, and logistics.
- Terminology and symbols used to describe assembly,
disassembly, recycling, handling, interconnection.
STC Assembly deals with maintenance services, assembly/disassembly
technology, recycling, design for assembly/disassembly,
micro-assembly, human factors, logistics, quality testing
in assembly and disassembly, product integration and
interconnection, monitoring, diagnostics and control,
information and communication systems, structure and
organization of assembly processes.
The
current (2003-2004) officers of STC-A are:
